Tip of the Month: November 2015

IMG_9550It’s been a while since I’ve traveled but I still have plenty of ways to remember my trips. In 2014, for example, I spent the summer with my grandma in France but was also sent on a mission by my mom. I had to get her some Gros Sel de Guérande. A year later, we still have plenty of sea salt that needs to be used. No, salt doesn’t expire but still, why let it collect dust? Put that salt to use and use your molecajete (the stone guacamole maker) to grind coarse salt.  This can also be used to grind spices. Don’t have a molecajete? Don’t fear! You can also use your coffee grinder to grind salt and spices.
