Tip of the Month: September 2015

IMG_9420Herbs are a natural flavoring that can elevate the most basic dish. When the cold winter comes, you can’t expect that your herbs will survive. So prepare now while they’re still growing. Chop up your herbs and freeze them using an ice cube tray. Once they are hard, you can store them in the freezer in a plastic bag. This way, you can use your herbs from the garden for the holidays to come. Don’t want to freeze them for whatever reason? No worries! Dry the herbs and store them in your spice cabinet.IMG_9541

Happy September!
